Voddler teams up with Private Media Group
Private Media Group Launches Voodler in Spain.

• Swedish video site Voddler raises $8 million
• Spotify reaches one million paying users
Swedish streaming video site Voddler, that utilizes peer-to-peer delivery technology, has reached a magic number as 13 year old Phillip from Norway became its 1 millionth user.
Voddler also said it will launch a new subscription service with Private Media Group, worldwide leader in premium quality adult entertainment.
In connection with the launch of the new service, Private Media Group is
increasing its library of adult quality content on Voddler with more
than 20 new titles every month reaching over 150 new titles by end of
2011.
"Entering this next phase of our relationship with the leading VoD service provider in Scandinavia underscores the strength of our brand and offering. Private's expansive library of high-quality content combined with Voddler's platform and exponentially growing user base marks a new era in how content is consumed moving forward", said Berth Milton, Chief Executive Officer of Private.
The Stockholm-based firm currently offers its users over 4,000 movie titles from almost all major film companies, ranging from drama and horror to TV-documentaries. Almost 80 percent of its catalog titles is free to view, supported by advertising.
Today the service is available to Scandinavian customers but will go live in Spain on 1 June.
. Last month the company said it had raised 8 million dollar in a new investment round led by Nokia Growth Partners.
